N.T.Wright on C.S. Lewis

Over at Touchstone, N.T. Wright has an interesting piece on C.S. Lewis.

Phil G said...: I think NT Wright is wrong about Lewis on many levels. Most importantly, he misses the point of Mere Christianity. It is not a book of Christian doctrine, but a book of apologetics. And it is the best book on apologetics ever written. Many others have have tried to write a better one, thinking they had better arguments, but they usually fail. I guarantee you that in another 50 years, it will continue to be read. (unlike the new book NT Wright is promoting ( Simply Christian) as an alternative to Lewis.); 2:48 PM
