The Death of Blogs?

Christianity Today has an interesting piece on the Death of Blogs by Ted Olsen. While the gimmick may be passing for many, I think that biblioblogs and theoblogs are in full swing. I feel like quoting Mark Twain: "The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated".

There's certainly no sign of death in theo-blogging. Just this month I've noted the start of several new blogs. If anything, there are more than ever before. If there's a death, it's probably occurring among the younger teenage generation, who are probably moving on to something else. I think the intellectual blogs are going strong, but perhaps the ones focused on social networking are declining. Just a hypothesis.

Quite interesting article. Wow, Scot McKnight has the best of both worlds. Great books and a great blog! (Certainly he's not the only one, though he stands out in my world)
