N.T. Wright going to St. Andrews Uni
In a surprise move, N.T. Wright will be leaving his position as Bishop of Durham and will be taking up a post as Research Professor of New Testament and Early Christianity at St. Andrews University in Scotland. See the reports at the Diocese of Durham website and St. Andrews Uni website.

Perhaps the Archbishop of Canterbury might follow suit?
Isn't NTW really close to mandatory retirement?
Finish you magnum opei
St. Andrews just went to the top of my PhD program wish list!!!!
Good for Him! May God bless his work.
During the Wheaton Theology Conference, Wright was on a Chicago radio station where he hinted that his time as Bishop of Durham may be drawing to a close. Wright said that a person is only bishop for ten years or so. But if this means more time to write (even though the Bishop of Durham is normally an academic/publishing position), I think it is a great move.
