What common cause could there be between Bishop N.T. Wright and Hillsong Megachurch worship pastor Darlene Zschech? Well the answer is here. I think I can imagine a conspiracy theory about how N.T. Wright (the unknown love-child of Pope Pius IX) and Darlene Zschech (the last surviving montanist prophetess) hatched a plot in the early 1990's to bring down Reformed Christianity. Tom would strike against their theology of justification and Darlene would break their spirits with a series of worship songs that have four words, three notes, and get sung six times through. It all makes sense. Positively diabolical. It is a plan of sheer machiavellian brilliance. Now that I have uncovered this venile plot, I should be cast as Robert Langdon in the next Dan Brown Movie!

There is a much deeper sublime plot here, its in the toothpaste. lol.
On the serious side, we are losing our minds. Every Christmas more minds are turned into silly putty. Video gaming, video watching, mind bending music with ear percing decibals, what more do kids want? Most of them don't have the attention span to make it past four words in a chorus. I can only imagine what it would be like otherwise.
Three notes? Wow, HS's musical diversity has increased. . . never used to be that complex.
I'm almost lost for words! What would make it even fruitier would be an essay on the RPW by Donald MacLeod.
I always thought folks in the Reformed tradition liked doing and saying the exact same things again and again and again and again....Darlene would seem to be the perfect fit. :-)
Perhaps if people in the Reformed tradition read their bibles more critically, this wouldn't be such a thread.
