Interview with Trevin Wax

As a follow up to his recent review of Introducing Paul, Trevin Wax has posted an interview with me about why we should be reading Paul today!

Mike, I'm fascinated by you asking how union with Christ actually works. I'm not sure why that question needs to be asked. Doesn't union just 'work', by virtue of what it inherently is? Why does some mechanism (such as imputation) need to be present?

Interesting interview. I like how you said how Paul "present us with a “warts and all” picture of the church (especially in Galatians and the Corinthian letters)." I have been doing a Bible study on Acts and Acts presents such an ideal picture of the church, it is refreshing to read Paul again and realize that the church is still made up of the same fallen individuals who need grace.
