Paul and Pagan Sexual Ethics

If you think Paul is a bit too harsh in Rom. 1:26-28, consider this image from ancient Rome (sadly, I could not bring myself to post it on the blog, be warned, it is pretty explicit).

It's not a reason for condemnation of gay people who are gay by genetics, which that picture clearly shows is not the case. That is people acting like whores.

Hey Mike, do you have any other information (not pictures!) on where this image was located? Palace? Private residence? Temple?

Mike -- to make a minor correction, the image you linked is a fresco of many similar images from Pompeii, not Rome. I just completed a course on Pompeii in the spring and we actually studied some of these images. (!)
